Polyanionic cellulose, referred to as PAC, is a water-soluble cellulose ether derivative prepared by chemical modification of natural cellulose. It is an important water-soluble cellulose ether. It is usually used as its sodium salt and is widely used in oil drilling, especially in brine wells and offshore oil drilling.
Polyanionic cellulose has good thermal stability, salt resistance and strong antibacterial property. The mud fluid prepared by this product has good water loss reduction, inhibition and high temperature resistance. It is widely used in oil drilling, especially brine wells and offshore oil drilling.
