Chemical properties of polyanionic cellulose

1. High degree of substitution: substitution value 0.85-1.4

2. Heat-resistant stability: The performance of the aqueous solution is stable below 80 ℃. When the temperature is close to 150 ℃, it can still display a certain viscosity and maintain for about 48 hours

3. Acid, alkali and salt resistance: the PH value is stable in the range of 3-11, and can be used in various polar harsh environments.

4. Good phase solubility: it can be miscible with other cellulose ethers, water-soluble adhesives, softeners, resins, etc; When the degree of substitution of PAC exceeds 1.2, it gradually shows oil solubility.

5. Good solubility: it can be quickly dissolved in cold water and hot water with simple mixing equipment; The dissolution rate of hot water is faster; Instant PAC can be fully dissolved within a few minutes, greatly improving the convenience of use and production efficiency.

6. Good stability: PAC aqueous solution has light stability and longer shelf life; It has strong resistance to bacterial mildew and does not ferment.

7. Extremely low usage: Due to the high degree of substitution and high stability of PAC itself, under the same usage environment, its usage is only 30% - 60% of carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC), reducing the use cost of enterprises to a certain extent. It has the advantage of high cost performance; At the same time, it saves the consumption of raw materials and has high economic and social benefits.

8. The main raw material of polyanionic cellulose (PAC) is refined cotton, which has no pharmacological effect and is harmless to physiology. The production process is green and environmentally friendly.

9. Polyanionic cellulose can be used for downhole operation at high temperature in deep wells.
